Middle School Division News: May 15, 2025

We’re in the home stretch! 

We look forward to seeing you all tomorrow at the SOARING UP + MIDDLE SCHOOL AWARDS Ceremony at 2pm in the N. Best Center for the Arts to celebrate our amazing eighth grade and a year well-lived! 

LAST WEEK of SCHOOL Schedule + FINAL EXAMS 

Middle School Exams are Tuesday and Wednesday of our last week of school. As a reminder, students will take their history and English finals on Tuesday, and then math and science on Wednesday. 

Monday, May 19th

• Last Review Day
• Regular MS schedule (PE, lunch)

Tuesday, May 20th - Final Exams

• 8:15 - 10:15 AM: 7th Language Arts / 8th US History 
• 10:30-12:30 PM:  7th Texas History / 8th Language Arts Students 
• Early Dismissal 12:30 pm

Wednesday, May 21st

• 8:15 - 10:15 AM 7th Math* / 8th Science 
• 10:30- 12:30 PM 7th Science / 8th Math*                    

  *will be mixed-grade courses 

• Early Dismissal 12:30 pm - NO AFTERCARE AVAILABLE! 

Our last day of school for the year is Thursday, May 22. We will all convene in the theater for a brief assembly and slideshow to celebrate the year and recognize our seniors. Immediately following, students will receive their yearbooks and have a “signing day” with their friends on campus. Starting about 10:00 am, we’ll have fun on the playground and fields with a cook-out and lunch prior to early dismissal at 11:30am. Parents are welcome to join us for the morning and for burgers and hotdogs on the grill to officially welcome summer!
