We understand the concern and uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus (COVID-19) and are committed to being responsive to the needs of our community. Out of an abundance of caution, we will implement our Distance Learning Plan after Spring Break beginning on March 23 – April 3.
Distance Learning Plan: On Monday, March 23rd, every family will receive detailed educational objectives from the faculty. This information will be emailed to Lower School families and made available via FACTS/ParentsWeb for Middle and Upper School.
Thank you for your understanding and continued support as we adhere to the guidelines and recommendations of our local and state health agencies. As always, the well being of our students, faculty, and staff is our top priority.
Our Mission: Empower Confidence. Maximize Potential.
The Winston School is a small college preparatory school designed to maximize the potential of bright students who learn differently®. Through individualized learning strategies our students are empowered to confidently meet the challenges of tomorrow.
Rigorous Academic Environment
Our personalized, college preparatory program is designed to align with the student’s learning style rather than teaching a fixed curriculum. We are focused on educating the whole child empowering them to be confident, well-rounded and lifelong self-advocates.
The Fine Arts program provides students numerous opportunities for pursuing their artistic and performing talents. It is our desire to open students’ eyes to the possibilities, while acknowledging their talents and celebrating their gifts.
Unique Testing and Evaluation Services
To support our plan for your student’s academic success, our Testing and Evaluation Center offers a full battery of comprehensive psychoeducational tests to assist in preparing for and attaining educational and career goals.
