Jennifer Premo, Director

Jennifer Premo, M.Ed. has been director of Testing and Diagnostics at The Winston School since 2008. She completed both her Bachelor’s in Curriculum and Instruction and Master’s in Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University, College Station. Mrs. Premo taught elementary school for seven years before becoming an Education Diagnostician in the public school system in 1997.  At Winston, Jennifer oversees all the work that is done in the Testing & Evaluation Center, including both private clients and Winston student evaluations. She works to bring insight into each student’s unique gifts as well needs as a learner.

Joy Apple

Joy earned a Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Texas-Austin, a Master’s Degree from Angelo State University and certification as an Educational Diagnostician from Texas Women’s University, Denton.  She has taught 1st -12th grades in public and private schools in general and special education classrooms. Since joining the Winston Testing and Evaluation staff in 2000, she has worked as an Educational Diagnostician testing Winston students and private clients.

Allison Dickey

Allison Dickey earned her Bachelor’s Degree from The University of Richmond in Richmond, Virginia and has a Master’s Degree in Education from Texas Woman’s University. She works to tailor each evaluation to the needs of the individual student in order to gain an understanding of their specific learning style. Allison is passionate about providing information that will elevate student performance and is experienced in the identification of a variety of learning differences.

Patty DiFilippo

Patty DiFilippo completed her Bachelor’s Degree from Texas Christian University and Master’s Degree in Education and certification as an Educational Diagnostician from East Texas State University. She served as a Special Education Resource teacher and Educational Diagnostician in the public school system before joining the Winston Testing & Evaluation staff. Patty currently evaluates Winston students and private clients.

Stephanie Jones

Stephanie Jones has a Master’s in Education from Lesley College with an emphasis in Learning Disabilities and Language. Before earning her M.Ed., Stephanie attended Texas Christian University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts majoring in Speech and Language Pathology and also received a minor in Psychology. Mrs. Jones has worked with The Winston School for 39 years as an Educational Diagnostician and teacher.  Mrs. Jones is also the former Director of Testing and Research at The Winston School, but retired from a full time position and currently does private client diagnostic work for those in the community.  Stephanie specializes in testing adult clients and individuals pursuing a higher education degree.
