Giving at The Winston School
Ways of Giving
Winston Center for the Arts Invites you to “Take a Seat!”
We invite you to participate in our new “Take a Seat” fundraiser.
Scholarship donations help the many children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to attend Winston. Donations are essential to meet the growing need of the children who will benefit from a Winston education but cannot afford to attend.
Gifts to the Endowment Fund enable Winston to provide scholarships, ensure low student-teacher ratio, offer competitive salaries and benefits to faculty, and maintain stability during economic downturns.
Gifts to the library build the collection. Gifts can be made in honor or in memory of a loved one, faculty member, or student. A nameplate bears the name of the donor and honoree.
Donations support Winston Science, a 10-day series of exciting and energetic scientific challenges and competitions designed to motivate students to study math and science. Winston Science is open to all public and private school students in the first through twelfth grades. 90 percent of the participants come from public schools.
Including The Winston School in your will is an effective way to make a gift that might not be possible during your lifetime. A bequest is a gift made through a donor’s will, and is the simplest and most common form of a planned gift. Other planned gifts include life insurance policies and annuities.
