The Winston Annual Fund
The Winston Annual Fund is a yearly giving campaign to raise needed funds outside of tuition that support every Winston student, every day. The Fund is fueled entirely by Winston families, alumni, Trustees, faculty, staff and friends —all of whom are passionate about our mission.
How will the funds be utilized this year?
The Winston Annual Fund supports the school’s operating budget and helps fund the true cost of a Winston education. Our Annual Fund sustains a diverse scope of programs, including academics, the arts, athletics and technology. It also supports our outstanding faculty and provides classroom resources that enrich educational opportunities.
Each year Winston establishes two IMPORTANT goals for the Annual Fund:
1. 100% Participation
Our goal is 100% participation from our parents, staff, Trustees and faculty. Participation in annual giving campaigns is a data point often utilized by outside funding institutions to evaluate the stability of an independent school.
2. Raise $250,000 by June 30, 2022
Just by participating, you help us achieve our first goal. We ask each of you to participate at a level that is appropriate for your family’s budget; each gift is meaningful.
Is there a way to make my gift go further?
Many corporations offer matching gift programs for employees to institutions such as The Winston School. Often these gifts allow you to double your gift to the school.
How can I support the Winston Annual Fund?
Your fully tax-deductible gift can be made in cash, check or online with a credit card. You can also make a pledge.
